<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic interference inhibitor which does not generate toxic substances, when incinerated, is fire retardant, is superior in appearance, and has high complex magnetic permeability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Soft magnetic metal powder is filled in an acrylic resin, acrylic rubber, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-propylene-diene rubber or acrylonitrile butadiene rubber which is a polymeric binder or the mixture, and the mixture of red phosphorus and a nitrogen-based compound or the nitrogen-based compound which has the characteristics of a decomposition temperature ≥300°C is added as a flame retarder.
