<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a tire capable of reducing effectively an unfavorable influence on uniformity affected by a junction portion between both ends when forming annularly a sheet-like carcass ply member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An annular code sheet 3 is formed by bringing the both ends of the code sheet 3 for one tire comprising a code 1 arrayed using auxiliary yarns 2 into abutting state, to be joined, when forming the carcass ply member 10, a pair of rubber sheets 4a, 4b longer than the code sheet 3 is bonded respectively onto the both ends of the code sheet 3, and the both ends of each rubber sheet are overlapped to be joined.
