A method for realizing service roaming is provided in the present invention, the method includes: receiving a roaming registration request message including a service identifier; obtaining a service physical access address according to the service identifier, generating and storing the service registration routing information including the service identifier and the service physical access address; obtaining the address of a home service router or a service router which belongs to the service before the service is roamed, sending a roaming notification message to the home service router or the service router which belongs to the service before the service is roamed. A terminal for providing a service is provided in the present invention, the terminal includes: a roaming register request message sending unit for sending a roaming registration request message including a service identifier to the service router which belongs to the service after the service is roamed. In the embodiments of the present invention, receiving a roaming registration request message sent by the service, and updating service registration routing information and service roaming routing information according to the roaming registration request message, a user can access the service so that the user experience and universality of the user establishment itself service are improved.
