PURPOSE: A washing apparatus is provided to prevent the collision between a drum and a tub by controlling the air pressure as well as increasing the capacity of the tub. CONSTITUTION: A washing apparatus is composed of a tub, a drum, and a pressure adjusting unit. Washing water is accepted in the tub. The drum is movably installed in the tub. The pressure adjusting unit is formed on the tub. The pressure adjusting unit prevents the advance by the pressure difference in the rotation of the drum. The pressure adjusting unit makes the external air of the tub flow into the drum. The pressure adjusting unit is formed on the front of the tub. The pressure adjusting unit is formed between the front of the tub and the opening formed in the drum.
