PURPOSE: A method for repairing a color filter is provided to save the processing time and cost by repairing the defects of a pin hole and protrusion in a single process. CONSTITUTION: A method for repairing a color filter comprises the steps of: preparing a substrate(100); forming plural black matrixes(200) on the substrate; forming a color filter between the black matrixes on the substrate; forming a groove by radiating a laser beam to a protrusion(310) and a pin hole(320); and forming a repair material on the groove, wherein the irradiation ranges of a laser varies according as a laser mask rotates.
