PURPOSE: A message banking method using a mobile phone number and a system therefor are provided to enable a user to perform account transfer with only a mobile phone number, thereby enabling the user to perform a financial transaction through all channels. CONSTITUTION: A payer financial channel unit(400) requests transfer while transmitting transfer information including a mobile phone number of a recipient and a transfer amount to a financial institution. A financial institution server(420) receives a transfer request signal with the transfer information. The financial institution server checks whether a receiver mobile phone is available for a financial transaction using a receiver mobile phone number. The financial institution server withdraws a transfer amount from a payer account opened in the financial institution. |
