<p>A mounting device for a portable multimedia player (PMP) of the present invention can be installed inside a dashboard panel of a vehicle, which is different from a conventional PMP positioned on the top of a dashboard. Accordingly, the present invention protects the PMP in the vehicle and reduces clutter inside the vehicle caused by a mounting device and various wires to satisfy customers. The mounting device for a PMP can be installed inside the vehicle for use and allows a user to separate the PMP from the mounting device to carry the PMP because a covering part thereof can be easily opened by manipulating a slider part thereof. The mounting device for a PMP allows the PMP to occupy minimal space when installed inside the vehicle and prevents theft of the PMP when installed in the vehicle or when carried by the user because the PMP can be installed inside the vehicle while keeping the portability of the PMP. The mounting device for a PMP does not spoil interior design of the vehicle to easily appeal to customers who have a preference for high quality because the mounting device is a type which is installed inside the vehicle and does not require a support or additional wires which are detrimental to the appearance of the vehicle interior. The mounting device for a PMP includes a USB port as well as a radio and an amplifier, for the convenience of customers. Also, a navigation function may be added to the PMP in addition to the original functions, thereby users may have corresponding convenience.</p> |
