ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Artificial leather and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to make the artificial leather having optimized elongation property by optimizing the content of elastomer. CONSTITUTION: Artificial leather is formed by impregnating elastomer on non-woven fabric consisting of ultrafine fiber. The elastomer of 20 ~ 30 weight% is included in the elastomer. The density of the non-woven fabric is 0.160 ~ 0.250 g/cm^3. The ultrafine fiber comprises PBT, polyethylene terephthalate or polytrimethylene terephthalate. The elastomer comprises polyurethanes or polysiloxane.
