METHOD OF MANUFACTURING EMI SHIELDING FILTER FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND EMI SHIELDING FILTER FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding filter for a plasma display panel and an EMI shielding filter using the same are provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by directly forming a hydrophobic layer and a conductive mesh pattern on the plasma display panel through an ink-jet method with a conductive ink. CONSTITUTION: An EMI shielding filter for a plasma display panel including a first panel with an image display side(S1). The image display side of the first panel is coated with a coating solution, a hydrophobic layer is formed(S2). A conductive ink is applied on the hydrophobic layer to form a conductive ink pattern using an ink-jet application unit(S3). The conductive ink and the hydrophobic layer are plasticized(S4). A conductive mesh pattern is formed on the hydrophobic layer.
