METHOD OF SELECTING SIGNAL TRANSMISSION MODE IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method of selecting a signal transmitting mode in a wireless communication system is provided to effectively reduce interference between cells, thereby increasing throughput for a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A terminal transmits a basic CQI(Channel Quality Indication)(S710). A base station transmits a message directing feedback of an aggregation CQI(S720). The terminal measures a CQI by applying a masking sequence to a fixed number of sub carriers(S730). The base station determines whether to perform aggregation or change the masking sequence based on feedback information(S740). The base station determines a DL(DownLink) transmission mode(S750).
