PURPOSE: An ultra-thin polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display including the same are provided to easily separate the polarizing plate from a liquid crystal cell without damage to a liquid crystal substrate. CONSTITUTION: An ultra-thin polarizing plate(20) comprises a transparent protective film(21), a polarizer(22), a first adhesive layer(23-1), a second adhesive layer(23-2), and a release film(24). The transparent protective film, the polarizer, the first adhesive layer, the second adhesive layer, and the release film are laminated in order. The storage modulus of the second adhesive layer is bigger than the first adhesive layer.
