<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable organic EL device which can improve a sealing nature. <P>SOLUTION: In the organic EL device having a display zone as a zone where an image is formed and an outer peripheral section 99 for surrounding the display zone 100 on one surface of an element substrate 10, wherein a first electrode 25, a second electrode 27, and a light-emitting function layer 26 including at least an EL material layer sandwiched between the first electrode 25 and the second electrode 27 are provided in the display zone 100, and also having organic EL elements 29 for emitting luminescence 48 of the light-emitting function layer 26 via the second electrode 27, a partition 77 for partitioning adjacent organic EL elements 29, auxiliary wiring 20 formed on an upper face of the partition 77 and electrically connected with the second electrode 27, and a partition layer 85 for covering the partition 77 and the organic EL element 29, a projected section 79 is formed on the upper face of the partition 77. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
