<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enteral nutrient having functions such as a mucous membrane immuno-stimulation action and an immuno-balance modulation action. <P>SOLUTION: The enteral nutrient contains a lactobacillus belonging to Lactobacillus brevis, a protein, a lipid, and a carbohydrate. An additive for the enteral nutrient comprises live bacteria, treated bacteria, or dead bacteria of the lactobacillus belonging to Lactobacillus brevis as an active ingredient.
