<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector device and its control method for preventing the occurrence of error in control information due to an out-of-control state of software in a main control processor. <P>SOLUTION: This projector device includes a projection part 20 for projecting light from a light source corresponding to image, an EEPROM 13 for holding the control information, user interfaces 11, 12 for performing various operation, a main CPU 14 for controlling the projection part 20 based on the control information after start, and a sub-CPU 15 for controlling start or stop of the main CPU 14 and monitoring operation of the main CPU 14 in accordance with the operation of the user interfaces 11, 12. The sub-CPU 15 detects the out-of-control state of the software in the main CPU 14, reflects change of the control information generated in the operation of the main CPU 14 up to the detection time on the control information held in the EEPROM 13, and restarts the main CPU 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
