<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte which excels in performance at a low-temperature environment and having a high withstand voltage, and to provide an electrochemical element which can be used stably at low temperatures and excels in long-term stability. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte for electrochemical element includes the electrolyte (B) containing a compound (A) expressed by a general expression (1); at least one kind of sulfolane derivative (S) containing a nonaqueous mixed solvent (H) and the solvent (H) is selected from among a group including sulfolane, 3-methylsulfolane, and 2,4-dimethyl sulfolane; and a chain carbonate ester (C) represented by general expression (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
