PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of predicting the development and/or level of wrinkles on the face surface in future. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic B-mode image of the face surface is captured, and a measured region is extracted from the captured image. The luminance distribution in the region is found, and a prescribed threshold is set to binarize the image. Next, the occupation rate, the area ratio (%), of the area having at least the prescribed threshold in the measured region is computed. In this way, development and/or level of wrinkles on the face surface in future is predicted by measuring the luminance of the subcutaneous tissue. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
