<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform edit processing for the end of a coded stream at high speed, in a state of less image quality degradation of a rendering portion. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 40 controls the operations of a decode processing section 10; a switching processing section 20, and a re-encoding processing section 30, by setting a frame from a start point of a GOP, including an editing point of the coded stream to an ending point as an edit zone DR; a frame from a frame immediately after the editing point to a first P picture after the editing point as a re-encoding zone RE; and a frame from the next of the P picture to the ending point of the edit zone as a parameter-encoding zone PE. The end of image data decoded in the zone DR is cut off at the editing point, and the decoded image data is re-encoded in the zone RE and is re-encoded, by using the coding parameters of the image data decoded and obtained in the zone PE; and in this manner, compression-coded data of one open GOP is formed at the end of such a new coding stream that the end of the coded stream at the editing point is cut off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
