PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid composition which is excellent in thermal stability, in particular, moist thermal stability, to provide a method of manufacturing the polylactic acid composition, and to provide a molded article of the same. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid composition contains: a resin component ((A) component) of 100 pts.wt. consisting of polylactic acid (A-αcomponent) of 5 to 95 wt.% and a polyacetal (A-βcomponent) of 95 to 5 wt.%; a phosphono fatty acid ester ((B) component) of 0.001 to 5 pts.wt.; a metal phosphate salt ((C) component) of 0.01 to 5 pts.wt.; at least one kind of antioxidant ((D) component) of 0.001 to 2 pts.wt. selected from a group consisting of phosphite type compound, phosphonite type compound, hindered phenol type compound and thioether type compound; and an end-capping agent ((E) component) of 0.001 to 10 pts.wt.
