<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette for photographing a radiation image easy to be set. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cassette for photographing the radiation image includes: a detection medium for detecting radiation; and a flat casing for storing the detection medium. A handheld part is provided on a rear face of the casing of a reverse side to an incident face of the casing on which radiation is incident.
