FIBROUS STRUCTURAL MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fibrous structural material excellent in durability by using a fluorine-based water repellant on considering environmental problems. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This fibrous structural material having water repellency is provided by fixing a fluorine-based water-repelling compound having <5 ng/g concentrations of perfluorooctanoic acid and/or perfluorooctane sulfonic acid measured by a high-speed liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer (LC-MS) on a single fiber surface, and further fixing the fluorine-based compound as a layered state.
