<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that foliage portions for two ridges are discharged between the ridges on every other ridge, accumulated and stepped with a travel vehicle to obstruct the travel of the travel vehicle and the harvesting works of the harvester. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the subterranean stem crop harvester having a pullout conveyer 3, a cutting portion 4 for cutting off the bulb portions of subterranean stem crops from the foliage portions, a conveyer 6 for discharging the foliage portions, a bulb-receiving portion 5, and a foliage portion-discharging chute 7 disposed below the final end portion of the conveyer 6 for discharging the foliage portions, the foliage portion-discharging chute 7 is disposed in the lateral direction orthogonal to the travel longitudinal direction, and has, in the rear view, a chevron shape whose laterally middle portion 70 is the highest and whose right and left end portions are lower; and the rear end portion of the conveyer 6 for discharging the foliage portions is rotated in a circular state in a plan view around a conveyer rotation shaft 60 disposed close to the front end portion as a rotation center.
