PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio reproduction device for allowing securement of responsiveness from a stop request to stop completion, and also allowing suppression of noise occurrence during stoppage. SOLUTION: The audio reproduction device has: a first processor 1; a second processor 2 for performing decoding processing of compressed sound data; and a memory 3 for storing data after the decoding. The audio reproduction device also has a DMA transfer part 4 including: a first address register 8 for transferring the data after the decoding stored in the memory 3, and storing an address of the data after the decoding during the transfer; and a second address register 9 for performing fade-out processing to the data after the decoding in advance by prescribed bytes from the data address stored in the first address register 8 when the stop request is performed during the transfer, and storing a termination address of the data after the decoding performed with the fade-out processing.
