<p>A driving arrangement for an electric toothbrush comprises a driving circuit, a housing (1), a rotating shaft (2), bearings (3), a winding bobbin (4), boot shaped yokes (5), a driving winding (6), a magnet positioning rod (8), permanent magnets (10), end caps (15) and a damping device to assist reciprocating action of the rotating shaft. A rotor is rotated reciprocally at high frequency by use of a stator and a rotor and by controlling the direction of current in the stator winding to change the direction of the magnetic field. An alternating magnetic field is generated by use of an alternating rectangular wave current. The winding bobbin is formed by abutting two half round iron cores so as to simplify the technical process of coil winding. The bobbin is formed by laminating multiple layers of magnetic conductive elements to reduce magnetic reluctance and eddy currents in the middle magnetic path. The damping device to assist movement of the alternating magnetic field is arranged on the rotating shaft so as to facilitate the reciprocal motion of the rotating shaft.</p> |
