<p>Provided is a solid electrolytic capacitor wherein the volume of a capacitor element is increased, and a lead terminal can be reliably connected to another lead terminal. In the solid electrolytic capacitor, a capacitor element (1) having a front end face from which a positive electrode lead wire (12) is projected; and a positive electrode lead terminal (2) connected to the positive electrode lead wire (12), are sealed by an exterior sealing element composed of a synthetic resin, with the exception of a part of the positive electrode lead terminal (2). The positive electrode lead terminal (2) is comprised of a positive electrode base frame (21) which is opposed to the positive electrode lead wire (12) and disposed along the lower surface of the exterior sealing element (4); a raised connecting piece (22) which is raised from the edge of the positive electrode base frame (21) along the front end face of the capacitor element (1), and has an upper edge to which the positive electrode lead wire (12) is connected; and reinforcing pieces (23) provided between the opposed side edges of the raised connecting piece (22) and the opposed side edges of the positive electrode base frame (21).</p> |
