PURPOSE: A faucet for saving energy is provided to save hot water even if a user raises a water valve located to be parallel with a tap water outlet. CONSTITUTION: A faucet(20) for saving energy comprises a cold water supply pipe(22), a hot water supply pipe(23), a mixing chamber(21), a tap water outlet(25), and a water valve(24). Cold water is supplied to the cold water supply pipe, and hot water is supplied to the hot water supply pipe. The mixing chamber is connected to the cold water and hot water supply pipes and mixes cold water and hot water. The tap water outlet discharges the mixed water. The water valve discharges cold water when the water valve is horizontal with the tap water outlet, and discharges hot water when the water valve is vertical with the tap water valve. |
