PURPOSE: An image recovery apparatus based on PSF parameter estimation and a method thereof are provided to estimate PSF parameters more exactly by minimizing data loss in order to improve the performance of image deblurring, thereby supplying high definition images. CONSTITUTION: An image recovery apparatus receives a motion blur image. The image recovery apparatus changes an input image into a frequency domain(S101). DFT(discrete Fourier transform) is used for the conversion. Using the periodicity of the input image, the image recovery apparatus estimates a PSF(Point Spread Function) parameter(S102). The image recovery apparatus recovers the input image by deblurring the motion blur image through repetitive reconvolution of the PSF parameter and input image(S103). |
