PURPOSE: An image sensor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the photosensitivity of an image sensor by forming a light reflecting layer in the lower side of the image sensor. CONSTITUTION: A readout circuitry is formed in a first substrate(100). An anodic bonding region is electrically connected to the readout circuit. A wiring(150) is formed on the anodic bonding region. An image sensing part(210) is formed on the wiring. A light reflecting layer(190) is formed in the lower side of the image sensing part.
