PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring and correcting the thrust of a rocket engine are provided to reduce the error in the test of a rocket engine by minimizing the resistance using a rail system. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for measuring and correcting the thrust of a rocket engine comprises a propellant storage tank(110), a rocket engine(150), a propellant feeding pipe, a propellant feeding valve(130), a front load cell(140), and a rear load cell. The rocket engine is connected to the propellant storage tank. The propellant feeding pipe moves integrally with the rocket engine. The propellant feeding pipe connects the propellant storage tank to the spray part of the rocket engine. The propellant feeding valve is formed on the propellant feeding pipe. The front load cell is located in front of the propellant feeding valve. The front load cell measures receives the force through a front propellant feeding pipe(121a) to measure the thrust. The rear load cell makes contact with the rocket engine.
