PURPOSE: An ice making tube and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve ice making efficiency by including an ice making tube of a dual tube type with a refrigerant circulating space. CONSTITUTION: An auger type ice maker is composed of an ice-making tube and an auger. A refrigerant tube through which refrigerant circulates is formed at the outside of the ice-making tube. The auger is installed and rotates in the ice-making tube on the same axis as the tube. The ice-making tube includes an outer tube(1), and an inner tube(2). A spiral groove is formed on the inner circumference of the outer tube. The inner tube is inserted into the outer tube and thus a given refrigerant circulation space is formed between the outer circumference of the inner tube and the spiral groove and an ice making space(b) at which the auger is located is formed in the inner space of the inner tube.
