<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a humidifier manufacturable in a simple process while improving moisture exchange efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the humidifier 1 in which a first fluid flows through the inside of a hollow fiber membrane and a second fluid of different humidity from the first fluid flows through the outside of the hollow fiber membrane 12, includes a first process for forming a flow velocity increasing section A for increasing the flow velocity of the second fluid by forming a restriction gradient in the axial direction of the hollow fiber membrane 11 on the inner surface of a case 20, and a second process for forming a dispersion section for dispersing the flow of the second fluid in a required direction, in an inflow part R1 of the second fluid in the case 20.
