PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink for an inkjet type color filter which is superior in contrast ratio, brightness, and durability and can be suitably used in production of the color filter.

SOLUTION: The ink for color filter is used in production of the inkjet type color filter and contains a coloring agent, a resin material, and a liquid medium in which the coloring agent is dissolved and/or dispersed. The resin material contains a polymer expressed by formula (8) (wherein, R1is H or a methyl group; R2is a 1-8C divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group; R3is a residue of the blocking agent R3H of an isocyanate group; R4is H or a methyl group: R5is a 16-25C hydrocarbon group which may have a hydrocarbon-substituted oxy group; R10is H or a methyl group: and a, b, c and d are each independently an interger of at least 1).
