<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, to a portable terminal, information related to video contents having viewed or being viewed by a user. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a video related information presenting apparatus 20 for providing, to a portable terminal, information related to video contents having viewed or being viewed by a user. The video related information presenting apparatus 20 includes: an intra-program information management section 22 for acquiring a still image and important information including character string information or the like inside a caption extracted from the still image from a video receiving device 10 at fixed intervals; an intra-program information database 23 for storing the acquired still image and important information; a user profile management section 26 for performing authentication when acquisition of the important information is requested from a portable terminal 30; a picture generating section 24 for reading specific information specifying the important information from the intra-program information database 23 when the authentication is made successful, and generating a picture for displaying a listing of read-out specific information; and a communication section 25 for transmitting the generated picture to the portable terminal 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
