<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensing system, a detecting method, and computer program products for reducing inconvenient of individuals and also reducing opportunities where individuals are exposed to electromagnetic radiant ray. <P>SOLUTION: The adaptation sensing system is provided which includes a passive sensor acquiring electromagnetic radiant ray, an active sensor emitting and receiving electromagnetic radiant ray, a detecting section composed so as to detect presence of person and objects other than person in an observational domain, and a controlling section, and, when presence of person is detected, the passive sensor is controlled by the controlling section so as to receive electromagnetic radiant ray from a domain where at least person is detected, while, when presence of objects other than person are detected, the passive sensor is controlled by the controlling section so as to emit electromagnetic radiant ray to a domain where at least the objects are detected and to receive electromagnetic radiant ray from the domain concerned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
