<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of power generation amount and durability in power generation using a piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: The generator includes: a pair of shock absorbing materials 14a, 14b juxtaposed with an interval, a vibrating plate 12, a piezoelectric element 11, and a plurality of shafts 13a, 13b. The vibrating plate 12 is supported in its vicinity by the shaft 13b, and the piezoelectric element 11 is supported by the shaft 13a. The vibrating plate 12 and the piezoelectric element 11 are arranged so as to be warped to be close to one or other of the pair of shock absorbing materials 14a, 14b to their peripheral edges, and the surroundings of the piezoelectric element 11 and the vibrating plate 12 deform when an external force is applied to either one of the pair of shock absorbing materials 14a 14b, thereby the piezoelectric element 12 generates power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
