<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content delivery system, capable of caching a number of contents while saving cost for the capacity of a storage, and managing the cache state of each content according to its download interval. <P>SOLUTION: The content delivery system 1 shown in Fig.1 includes a storage hierarchical part 30 including storages 3A to 3C each of which is a cache storage with a level assigned so that the higher the data transfer rate, the higher the level, and a storage 3D that is a backup storage; and a storage management device 2. The storage management device 2 has a storage management function of managing download interval for each content and managing the cache state of each content according the download interval, and a cache function of caching, upon receipt of a cache instruction of content, the content concerned from the storage storing this content to the cache storage of the top level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
