<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which adjusts chromaticity without lowering a quantity of light. <P>SOLUTION: This light source device 1 includes a plurality of LEDs 11 to emit illumination light having at least two kinds of wavelength components toward inwards in the radial direction of a circular ring, a light guide member 12 to guide illumination light emitted from the LED 11 in the direction along the axis 0 of the circular ring, a rotary motor 13 to rotationally drive the light guide member 12 around the axis 0, a setting portion 16 to set the wavelength component ratio of light emitted from the light guide member 12, a rotation control portion 18 to control the rotational speed of the rotary motor 13 so that the wave length component ratio of light obtained in the sum of times during which the entrance plane 20 of the light guide member 12 faces the LED 11 to emit each wavelength component becomes the same wavelength component ratio set by the setting portion 16, and a light source control portion 19 to determine the light emitting time of the LED 11 in accordance with the time during which the entrance plane 20 of the light guide member 12 faces the LED, and to make the LED 11 emit pulsed light at a time the entrance plane 20 of the light guide member 12 faces the LED. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
