<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery fixing device of a battery forklift capable of further surely and practically preventing falling-off of a battery. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This battery fixing device includes a fixing frame 1a forming a battery mounting chamber by vertically extending in a normal state from a vehicle body 1 and penetratingly arranging a fixing hole 1b, a stopper member 10 forming a lock hole 10e and an engaging groove 10d and protrusible-retreatable in the fixing hole 1b, and a lock arm 12 rockably arranged in the fixing frame 1a and engageable with the lock hole 10e by rocking to the unidirectional side. In a state of projecting the stopper member 10 to the battery mounting chamber, while the engaging groove 10d is engaging with a battery case 9, the lock arm 12 engages with the lock hole 10e. Engagement of the lock arm 12 and the lock hole 10e is released, and engagement of the engaging hole 10d and the battery case 9 is also released, and the stopper member 10 is pulled in from the battery mounting chamber.
