PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a bill hard to be damaged when pulling out the bill which is returned when returning the bill, and held in a bill entrance guide section so as not to fall. SOLUTION: The bill entrance guide section 20 which takes in a thrown-in bill inside is provided with a return bill holding lever 25 so as to block a bill feeding path 24 and is constituted so that the return bill holding arm 25b rotates centering on a shaft 25a by pulling a spring locking arm 25c in a direction of an arrow 25e with a pulling coil spring. When returning, the bill 61 pushes back a return bill holding arm 25b and is returned, and passes through a conveyance roller with which the bill 61 has received conveyance force and a taking-in roller 22, the bill 61 is held by the return bill holding arm 25b pushing the bill 61 against an inner wall 26 at an upper part of the bill feeding path 24.
