PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiving apparatus for processing video on a packet basis obtained by a plurality of tuners by a single processing circuit, and a signal processing method. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiving apparatus includes: receiving packets of digital broadcast signals of a plurality of channels; generating a packet containing a counter value indicating the time each packet has arrived and an additional information packet containing specific information to belong to the packet containing the counter value; and respectively receiving and demultiplexing the packet containing the counter value and the additional information packet; comparing PCR (Program Clock Reference) belonging to each packet with the counter value; and correcting an STC (System Time Cock) as needed; and can thereby reproduce digital broadcast of a plurality of channels using a digital broadcast reception module corresponding to single TS input.
