To insert a pivot pin (15) into a bearing bush, with a side wall (1) and at least a partially formed base (2) containing a set of roller bodies (4), it is introduced as far as an intermediate position where the axial movement of the roller bodies is restricted by an axial limit stop (7). The pivot pin is advanced to an axial end position, which also shifts the axial limit stop. The roller bodies are tensed by a spring ring (9) against the axial limit stop. The axial limit stop is displaced by the axial movement of the pivot pin until the roller bodies are no longer against it, and the pivot pin axial movement shapes a carrier (5) at the bearing bush base to support the axial limit stop. |
