METHOD OF LOCATION UPDATE

PURPOSE: A method of location update in a wireless communication system is provided to allocate a main paging group and a sub paging group to a terminal and use paging group location update timer, thereby preventing frequent location update of a terminal with a small paging load. CONSTITUTION: A deregistration command message including a first paging group ID and a second paging group ID(S240). While going out of area of the first paging group, paging group location update timer is started. A location update is performed according to the paging group location update timer. The deregistration command message comprises a first and a second paging offset. While operating the paging group location update timer, a paging message is received to a second paging offset from base station included in a second paging group.
