A NOVEL ZINC FINGER NUCLEASE AND USES THEREOF

PURPOSE: A novel zinc finger nuclease is provided to easily perform targeted cutting and changing and to use in gene therapy. CONSTITUTION: A fusion protein contains a zinc finger domain and nucleotide cut domain. The zinc finger domain contains three or more zinc finger module and two or more among the zinc finger modules are derived from wild type zinc finger module. The zinc finger nuclease cuts nucleotide sequence in a dimer form. The nucleotide cut domain is type IIs restriction endonuclease, FokI. The zinc finger domain is used in a first nucleotide sequence change in a specific area.
