PURPOSE: An image processing device and an image processing method in a mobile device are provided to process a video and stop video in a real time without increasing the size of a hardware logic circuit. CONSTITUTION: An image pre-processing unit(20) performs predetermined pre-processing about row data outputted form an image sensor. A first image processing unit interpolates image data after pre-processing when a moving picture mode. The first image processing unit performs a color space conversion to data of luminance-chrominance area. An auxiliary processor(60) interpolates the pre-processed image data if the data is in stop video mode. The auxiliary processor performs color area conversion to data of the interpolation process and the luminance-chrominance area.
