<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively lessen radiation noises emitted from a main circuit of an inverter device, reduce the weight of the inverter device, and improve the heat dissipation properties of the inverter device. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter device includes an inverter device circuit which is composed of a power semiconductor element and converts DC power into AC power, a snubber circuit which protects the power semiconductor element from overvoltage occurring upon switching, and a conductive path serving as a conductor connecting the inverter device circuit to the snubber circuit.
