摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine with a fuel reformulation system inhibiting deterioration of combustion even when reformed gas is not formed. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas taken out from a branch pipe 30 flows into an intake air passage 14 through a reformed gas conduit 34 via a heat exchanger 24. Exhaust gas taken out from the exhaust gas conduit 40 flows into an intake air passage 14 through the exhaust gas conduit 40. Since the exhaust gas conduit 40 is branched off from the exhaust gas passage 22 at a downstream side of the heat exchanger 24, exhaust gas of low temperatures relatively to exhaust gas flowing through a branch pipe 30 branching off from the exhaust gas passage at an upstream side of the heat exchanger 24 is supplied into the intake air passage 14.
