The invention relates to a slip-resistant coating and the processing of synthetic, pyrogenic silicic acid in nanoparticle form as an additive in a composition or mixture for use as a slip-resistant coating or floor covering having slip-resistant characteristics. An aqueous epoxy dispersion is diluted with organic solvents, and then the hydrophobic, pyrogenic silicic acid in nanoparticle form and other additives are introduced to produce a coating compound. |
