PURPOSE: A backlighting arrangement using a prism sheet and a microlens film and a liquid crystal display device including the same are provided to efficiently prevent the light leakage phenomenon at a diagonal viewing angle. CONSTITUTION: Light is income a light source on a diffusion sheet(232). The diffuse sheet diffuses the light. The light expanded within the diffuse sheet is inputted on a first prism sheet. The first prism sheet squarely condenses the light and luminance is risen. After the condensed light is refracted again in the first prism sheet, a second prism sheet(234) squarely condenses the light. A micro lens film(236) is income from the second prism sheet.
