<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon rubber sponge formable emulsion composition in which the emulsifying stability is not reduced, the cell form is not degraded, and the hardness becomes not so high even if an amount of reinforcing silica filler is increased, and a method of producing a silicone rubber sponge from the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The silicone rubber sponge formable emulsion composition comprises: 100 pts.wt. of a liquid diorganopolysiloxane (A) having at least two alkenyl groups bonded to silicon atoms in one molecule; 1-50 pts.wt. of a reinforcing silica filler (B) composed of fumed silica (b1) and precipitated silica (b2) having a weight ratio b1/b2 of 0.01/1-30/1; 50-250 pts.wt. of water (C) containing smectite clay (c); 0.1-7 pts.wt. of a sorbitan fatty acid ester (D); 0-10 pts.wt. of an isononan acid ester (E); 0-10 pts.wt. of a Guerbet alcohol (F); and a sufficient amount of a hardener (G) to cross-link to harden the constituent (A). The method of producing a silicone rubber sponge comprises hardening the composition while heating to dehydrate, or heating the composition to harden, and thereafter dehydrating a wet silicone rubber-like hardened object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
