<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device for easily securing a required braking force even if a source voltage is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The brake control device includes a power source, a hydraulic source of varying working liquid pressure by interlocking with the operation of a driver, a wheel cylinder for applying a braking force to a wheel by receiving the supply of a working liquid from the hydraulic source, a control valve arranged between the hydraulic source and the wheel cylinder and capable of mechanically opening the valve by the action of differential pressure when the hydraulic source side has higher pressure than the wheel cylinder side, and a control part for controlling the opening/closing of the control valve by a control current. The control valve may be a normally opening type valve closed by a specified control current set so that the valve is not mechanically opened by the action of the differential pressure in ordinary braking. The control part may close the control valve by the control current smaller than the specified control current when determined as a low voltage state by determining whether or not the power source is in the low voltage state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
