PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal that can inhibit antenna sensitivity from dropping in either case of an opening state or a closed state. SOLUTION: A cellular phone 1 includes an operation part side casing 2, a display part side casing 3, an opening/closing sensor 45, a grounding part 35 arranged on the operation part side casing 2, a circuit part 32 having a power feeding part 36 and a signal processing part 37, a first conductive part 31 arranged on the operation part side casing 2 and connected with the grounding part 35, a second conductive part 33 arranged on the display part side casing 3 and connected with the power feeding part 36, an antenna element 61, a receiver 22 arranged for an antenna element 61 under the closed status, a switch part 51 that can select the first connecting state of the second conductive part 33 connected with the receiver 22 in high-frequency or the second connecting state that shuts the second conductive part 33 off the receiver 22 in high-frequency, and a control part 44 that selects the first connecting status when the opening state is detected or selects the second status when the closed status is detected.
